Introducing Jan and Jerry's Hideaway - a stunning beach house just five houses from the ocean. This 3-bedroom retreat accommodates up to 8 guests, offering both relaxation on beautiful beaches and fantastic entertainment options. Enjoy outdoor amenities like a gas grill, cornhole, seating areas, a picnic table, an outdoor shower, and a fire pit on the ground level.

THE SPACE:

Welcome to our spacious, open-concept home, where natural light floods the living room, dining area, and kitchen through expansive windows, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The heart of the home features a large kitchen island and abundant counter space, perfect for gathering and meal preparation. Each of the three bedrooms offers private luxury with ensuite bathrooms; the king bedroom boasts its own balcony, while the other two share access to a balcony, all furnished for outdoor relaxation and enjoyment.

This home is situated on the 3rd level, stairs are required to access. There is a freight lift available for easy luggage, and grocery transport.

LINENS AND LAUNDRY:

• We provide 1 bath towel, hand towel and washcloth per guest, and all beds are professionally made with hotel quality linens.

• Additional: Kitchen dishcloth and hand towels, 2 pot holders and a few beach towels.

• Laundry facilities are available to keep everything fresh during your stay as well as a private washer and dryer in the unit.

EXTRAS PROVIDED:

Just a few extras to make your stay better!

• Enjoy our welcome baskets with a few snacks, waters, and coffee/tea setup.

• We also provide the necessities to get you started: 2 standard and 2 oversized trash bags, 2 rolls of paper towels, 3 rolls of toilet paper, a new sponge, dishwasher pods and a Dawn dish soap dispenser.

• Each wash station is equipped with a full-size antibacterial hand soap dispenser for your convenience. Additionally, indulge in the luxurious Beekman 1802 hotel-quality amenities, including full-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

• Homes with a washer/dryer include a few laundry pods and dryer sheets, ensuring every aspect of your stay is covered.

PARKING:

There is driveway parking available for up to 6 vehicles. Parking in the street or on the grass is prohibited.

Jan & Jerry's Hideaway was perfect for our family get-away. We loved the location! Easy walking distance to the beach and close to the Big Store, too. Having the bedrooms separate from the living area served our family well. We cooked several meals while there and appreciated the open concept of the living space.

Right when we walked into the beach house we felt right at home. It was exactly what was listed and was a quick, walkable distance to the beach. Our entire family felt taken care of even when the tornado storm took out the power for the last evening. The Hosts were quick to respond to text questions and made our family vacation to Crystal Beach delightful. We look forward to our next stay!!

The house was a perfect fit for our group. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was very convenient. The house was beautifully decorated and furnished. The beds were extremely comfortable, probably the most comfy in any rental I've ever stayed in. The house was supplied with everything we needed, including a cute welcome basket with a few snacks and drinks. The downstairs tv and corn hole boards were a fabulous addition as well. We took advantage of both. We would definitely stay here again.

We came in during the Tropical storm and couldn't get across the ferry. The host was SUPER helpful and found us a place on Galveston side.. Unprecedented customer service. Place was immaculate and super nice. We loved the location; so close to the beach and to the Big Store. Really perfect for us.

This house meets all expectations and we enjoyed our stay so much! The house is well maintained, clean and has nice furnishings. Loved the fenced yard for our dogs too! The location is great! You can see the water from the top floor balcony. If you struggle with stairs, this might not be a good fit as there are stairs from ground level up to bedroom level and then stairs to get from bedroom level to living/kitchen level. This was not a big deal for us but my parents normally come with us (they were unable to this year) and they would not have been able to manage all the steps. The description of the house explains this but just wanted to put here in case you miss that. The only things I thought it could use are a few more wine glasses and a few storage containers for leftovers. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely rent again. Vacay Time was extremely easy to work with. They were great with communication and always had someone "on call"!

Plus, they include bodywash, shampoo and conditioner for each shower, which is a convenient addition. A clean, spacious and comfortable home, with a good view and short walking distance to the beach, what more could you ask for? We can't wait until our next visit.

Jan & Jerry's Hideaway was perfect for our family get-away. We loved the location! Easy walking distance to the beach and close to the Big Store, too. Having the bedrooms separate from the living area served our family well. We cooked several meals while there and appreciated the open concept of the living space.

Right when we walked into the beach house we felt right at home. It was exactly what was listed and was a quick, walkable distance to the beach. Our entire family felt taken care of even when the tornado storm took out the power for the last evening. The Hosts were quick to respond to text questions and made our family vacation to Crystal Beach delightful. We look forward to our next stay!!

The house was a perfect fit for our group. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was very convenient. The house was beautifully decorated and furnished. The beds were extremely comfortable, probably the most comfy in any rental I've ever stayed in. The house was supplied with everything we needed, including a cute welcome basket with a few snacks and drinks. The downstairs tv and corn hole boards were a fabulous addition as well. We took advantage of both. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was exquisite! We really enjoyed the cleanliness of the place and the location. Also, real quiet and relaxing neighborhood atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay there! Just a great property from top to bottom.

We came in during the Tropical storm and couldn't get across the ferry. The host was SUPER helpful and found us a place on Galveston side.. Unprecedented customer service. Place was immaculate and super nice. We loved the location; so close to the beach and to the Big Store. Really perfect for us.

This house meets all expectations and we enjoyed our stay so much! The house is well maintained, clean and has nice furnishings. Loved the fenced yard for our dogs too! The location is great! You can see the water from the top floor balcony. If you struggle with stairs, this might not be a good fit as there are stairs from ground level up to bedroom level and then stairs to get from bedroom level to living/kitchen level. This was not a big deal for us but my parents normally come with us (they were unable to this year) and they would not have been able to manage all the steps. The description of the house explains this but just wanted to put here in case you miss that. The only things I thought it could use are a few more wine glasses and a few storage containers for leftovers. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely rent again. Vacay Time was extremely easy to work with. They were great with communication and always had someone "on call"!

This was our second time staying at Jan & Jerry's Hideaway, and it was just as great as the last. The home had everything we needed, whether you're cooking in the kitchen or putting your barbecue skills on display, all of the proper cooking utensils are at your disposal. The starter pack of items like paper towels, dishwasher pods, bath tissue, etc. are rather generous. Plus, they include bodywash, shampoo and conditioner for each shower, which is a convenient addition. A clean, spacious and comfortable home, with a good view and short walking distance to the beach, what more could you ask for? We can't wait until our next visit.

Awesome house! Walking distance to the beach. Restaurants, grocery store, and activities nearby. The house had tons of outdoor seating and places to hang out outdoors. Every bedroom has a private bathroom. Definitely recommend it!

Beach access was closer than I had thought. Will diffidently love to stay many more times and would suggest this location to anyone. We really enjoyed our stay at Jan and Jerry's Hideaway. The home is newer, beautifully decorated, and very clean. All three bedrooms are located on the first level, and one of them does have a set of twin bunk beds that are not included in the pictures (at the time of writing this). The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed as far as cooking utensils, pots and pans, sheet pans, etc. However, be sure to pack any spices or cooking oil you plan to use. Although, dollar general and the big store are only minutes away if needed. The road you turn off to get to the house has beach access at the end, so it's about a five to seven minute walk to the beach. The cargo lift for coolers and luggage is very convenient. Lastly, they were very quick to respond to any questions and were extremely friendly. Overall, our stay was fantastic and exactly what we wanted. Amazing home with awesome views and a short walk to the beach. We will gladly book again and can't wait until next time!
