This unit is situated on the second level and requires stairs to access. This is a historic building and does not have elevator access.

LINENS AND LAUNDRY:

• We provide 1 bath towel, hand towel and washcloth per guest, and all beds are professionally made with hotel quality linens.

• Additional: Kitchen dishcloth and hand towels, 2 pot holders and a few beach towels.

• A paid coin laundry facility is available to keep everything fresh during your stay located in the building.

EXTRAS PROVIDED:

• Enjoy our welcome baskets with a few snacks, waters, and coffee/tea setup.

• We also provide the necessities to get you started: 2 standard and 2 oversized trash bags, 2 rolls of paper towels, 3 rolls of toilet paper, a new sponge, dishwasher pods and a Dawn dish soap dispenser.

• Each wash station is equipped with a full-size antibacterial hand soap dispenser for your convenience. Additionally, indulge in the luxurious Beekman 1802 hotel-quality amenities, including full-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Please note that Vacay Time does NOT provide parking for this property. Guests are responsible for securing and covering the cost of any parking during their stay.

There are no designated parking spots for this rental. However, nearby parking options include the parking garage at 2100 Market Street and first-come, first-served street parking along Strand Street, which requires payment during certain hours.

We kindly ask that you pay close attention to all signage in the area, as Vacay Time is NOT responsible for any parking fees, violations, or tickets incurred during your stay.

Our stay there was great! close to all restaurants, Bars and beach. We felt very secure walking around the area. The loft was very clean. Cozy felt very at home. The host was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent stay! Perfect place to stay for the cruise port or to just experience the downtown area. The only negative I would have would be that you do hear all the downtown noises at night, but hey, that’s city life and totally out of the owner’s control. I will definitely stay here again if we cruise out of Galveston.

This condo is in a pretty cool location if you want to watch the ships come I early. We loved being on the strand. It is a tad noisy and the rooms don’t get completely dark. Overall it was a great experience.

The place was in the center of the historic strand. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and shops. The beds were all very comfortable, the cooling system worked great. Plenty of towels and wash cloths. It was very clean and we didn’t need anything extra. Walking distance to Starbucks. Perfect location. We would stay again.

A great place to stay on The Strand. Cool historic building. Central/ walkable location. The patio is huge and accessible on 2 side of the building. Great views—lots of Maritime action. Prime spot during any parade or event on the strand. Road noise is a little loud from harborside drive at early morning hours. I would certainly stay here again.

We loved our stay! The location was amazing (couldn’t have been any better) and the space was great. It was super clean and just as described. Since it is right on the strand and somewhat near the cruise ships I imagine it can get loud at times but we had zero issue with noise. Also the hosts provided ear plugs which was so thoughtful! We also had a special request when we arrived and the hosts were super responsive and accommodating. We loved our time here and would absolutely stay again.

I booked this place and it met all expectations. It was decorated super cute and right on the strand and walkable to the beach and many other places. Even though it was in the strand, I was never bothered by loud noises. The hosts texted me before my stay and during my stay assuring me they were available anytime. I lived my stay and will be coming back soon.

The apartment was conveniently located on the Strand. We walked most places we went which was great. And the provided parking was nearby, easy to access and safe. The apartment was clean and well furnished. The large windows in the living room made the space bright and it was fun to watch the cruise ships in the harbor. Less fun was the noise - the ships’ horns and announcements were quite loud but only periodic; the traffic on Harborside was noisy in the early mornings. These were only minor annoyances however. The management company was very communicative, friendly and proactive. Overall we had a very nice stay and recommend this home if you are looking for a historic apartment located right in the thick of the fun.

Bathrooms needed updating lots of stairs to get into apartment kitchen really needed updating. It was very clean and it was in a great location. It had a downstairs bedroom that really could use a TV . I was with someone olderhaving trouble walking up all the steep stairs Stairs were just hard to get luggage up and down .the apartment itself was in a great location and really enjoyed the balcony

This was our second year in a row to stay here and we will be back again! The new floors were a nice touch! Can’t beat the location. It’s also easier to park across the street from Starbucks and pay the daily rate to avoid walking from the parking garage. It’s worth it!

This was our second time in this fantastic property! We enjoyed the location and the spacious accommodations! We will continue to look for this listing every time we come to Galveston for our cruises. Best part is, you can stand on the balcony and watch the cruise ships come in! So fun!

The place was in the center of the historic strand. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and shops. The beds were all very comfortable, the cooling system worked great. Plenty of towels and wash cloths. It was very clean and we didn’t need anything extra. Walking distance to Starbucks. Perfect location. We would stay again.

A great place to stay on The Strand. Cool historic building. Central/ walkable location. The patio is huge and accessible on 2 side of the building. Great views—lots of Maritime action. Prime spot during any parade or event on the strand. Road noise is a little loud from harborside drive at early morning hours. I would certainly stay here again.

We loved our stay! The location was amazing (couldn’t have been any better) and the space was great. It was super clean and just as described. Since it is right on the strand and somewhat near the cruise ships I imagine it can get loud at times but we had zero issue with noise. Also the hosts provided ear plugs which was so thoughtful! We also had a special request when we arrived and the hosts were super responsive and accommodating. We loved our time here and would absolutely stay again.

Right on the strand, very convenient to local shopping at restaurants. Beds were great and home has plenty of room. Vacay time was great with instructions for check in and even called to let me know the unit was ready.

Perfect spot! everything was in place as advertised. Instructions for Gate Key, door code and parking pass was communicated perfectly. The only knock is to clean the bird Sh** from the entrance.

I don’t live far from Galveston and work remote but have to go into our Houston office occasionally. I wanted to get away without having to be too far. I booked this place and it met all expectations. It was decorated super cute and right on the strand and walkable to the beach and many other places. Even though it was in the strand, I was never bothered by loud noises. The hosts texted me before my stay and during my stay assuring me they were available anytime. I lived my stay and will be coming back soon.

The apartment was conveniently located on the Strand. We walked most places we went which was great. And the provided parking was nearby, easy to access and safe. The apartment was clean and well furnished. The large windows in the living room made the space bright and it was fun to watch the cruise ships in the harbor. Less fun was the noise - the ships’ horns and announcements were quite loud but only periodic; the traffic on Harborside was noisy in the early mornings. These were only minor annoyances however. The management company was very communicative, friendly and proactive. Overall we had a very nice stay and recommend this home if you are looking for a historic apartment located right in the thick of the fun.

Great place, and great location on The Strand. We were right in the middle of all the fun. The host were always friendly and helpful with my MANY questions. All in all had a fantastic stay and we plan to book for our next Galveston adventure!

Bathrooms needed updating lots of stairs to get into apartment kitchen really needed updating. It was very clean and it was in a great location. It had a downstairs bedroom that really could use a TV . I was with someone olderhaving trouble walking up all the steep stairs Stairs were just hard to get luggage up and down .the apartment itself was in a great location and really enjoyed the balcony

This was our second year in a row to stay here and we will be back again! The new floors were a nice touch! Can’t beat the location. It’s also easier to park across the street from Starbucks and pay the daily rate to avoid walking from the parking garage. It’s worth it!

Visited this property for a nearby wedding and it definitely exceed expectations. Wonderful location and host. Extra praise for having a Starbucks and a Jimmy John’s in your backyard! This would be a perfect stay for a weekend getaway or leaving for a cruise as it is so close! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Perfect location as guests for a wedding just a couple blocks away! Great spot if you’re looking for a “downtown” Galveston vibe. Our hosts were extremely thorough, prompt, and hospitable.

We enjoyed our stay (a family of 4, two toddlers). The place was clean, spacious, with a lot of sunlight! It is located right on the Stand. The unit itself is located in the back of the building, so you don’t hear the action happening on the Stand. We enjoyed the access to the wrap-around balcony. The host was welcoming and responsive.
