Wonderful beach house in Galveston! Ample space, great yard, and clean everything! We can’t wait to come back again. To no fault of the owners - there was a TV issue (new one needed as previous conked out) - and the owner called us prior to checkin letting us know, and solved it as quickly as they were able. With this place, you can be confident if things come up you will be met with transparency, good communication, and an attitude to solve it without disrupting your stay. Truly a gem in Galveston!

This was such a great place to stay! The house looked exactly as described. It was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Very close to the beach and easy to get around. There's a nice sized, fenced in backyard for dogs.

We had a great time in Galveston. The Festive Nest Home comes with everything you need. If you don’t want to eat out all the time while on vacation it has a fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, cutlery, coffee maker (regular and Kuerig), dishes etc. There is also a Washer and Dryer that is a definite plus being at the beach. Large dining room and comfortable living room. Two nice bedrooms. Lovely bathroom. The beach is a two block walk (5 mins). It also has everything you will need for your trips to the beach( chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and beach toys). They also have board games, books, a cozy porch and a relaxing back yard area. Definitely a home away from home. The pleasure pier is a 10-15 min walk and The strand is a 20-25 min walk away or you can hop on the Trolley. Had a wonderful time.

Charming and cozy home close to the beaches and some restaurants. Had a couple of beach chairs, 4 beach towels, and beach toys. It had everything you could need for an extended stay. Loved it.

It’s a nice home. It was really pretty out in the backyard and the front porch both to hang out in the breeze. The seawall is only two blocks up the street. 18th street is close to many places to enjoy yourself. Downtown isn’t far from there either. The Strand isn’t the only place, there are several other places downtown, you just have look around. The island has so many places to check out besides the beach, you just have to ask the locals. This house is a great place to stay and I’m sure anyone will enjoy themselves.

However, because it’s in the middle of everything and it such an old house, you hear every car that passes, every person walking by, if anyone is playing music, it sounds like it’s happening inside of the house. It’s a very cute place. It was cutely decorated, but the floors were very dirty. The shower/tub had a few cockroaches, and the shower curtain was filthy. There weren’t any reviews on this property or any of their properties when we booked, so we were nervous about that. These are minor issues that can easily be fixed.

This was for my 14 th grandson‘s birthday he had a blast he loved the house. He loved the backyard, nice and cozy. No on Positive: It was close to everything the boardwalk the restaurant the shops it was real cozy the bunk beds were very comfortable I so clean we feel in love with this house my grandchildren can’t wait to come back Negative: Nothing

The sleeping arrangement and bathroom were good. Negative: My biggest complaint was that I never received any information before arriving in Galveston to check in. I had no idea how to make entry to the property. I had to search to find a phone number to call to get the code. I had to call again to find out the Wifi password also. I never received any information about check out procedures to after I returned home. I left the propety early Sunday morning April 7 to return back home. I had checked weather conditions for Monday, April 8th which were not good for traveling. So, I left a day early. I was very disappointed in the lack of communication. This was my first time to rent a house for a stay.

Beautiful, comfortable and close to beach and nice walk to Pleasure Pier. Positive: Beautiful home. Clean, comfortable and had everything needed for our stay. Bedding, towels and dishes/cookware. Negative: Absolutely NOTHING!! (Maybe have Kleenex so we didn’t have to waste toilet paper. :)

Staying here made our vacation much more enjoyable. Positive: The location was great. The property was exceptionally clean and made us feel like home. Attention to detail was nice touch such as having books movies and games to play. The yard was nice and secure for our fur baby. We loved it. Negative: Nothing I could think of would have made it better
